Quello che vogliamo è mettere a regime un sistema che migliori la sicurezza, la fruibilità e l’efficienza della FiPiLi gestendone la manutenzione e il potenziamento. Costituiremo una società per azioni – ha spiegato – che risponderà direttamente alla Regione ma avrà la flessibilità, la tempestività e la capacità di gestione di una societa per azioni. Toscana Strade si sostituirà alla gestione della FiPiLi, oggi portata avanti dalla Città metropolitana di Firenze per conto di sé stessa, della provincia di Pisa e della provincia di Livorno”.

La prospettiva è quella di potenziare la strada di grande comunicazione allargandola per realizzare, dove possibile, la terza corsia o una corsia di emergenza. “Naturalmente – ha ricordato il presidente – questi interventi richiedono risorse e la Regione Toscana dimostrerà ai cittadini la serietà del proprio impegno su questo fronte facendosi carico degli investimenti necessari per l’allargamento dei tratti da Scandicci a Lastra a Signa e da Pontedera fino alla biforcazione tra Livorno e Pisa. Questi lavori saranno i primi a partire e per sostenerli la Regione destinerà dai 50 ai 70 milioni di euro. Successivamente potremo lavorare sugli altri punti critici indicati dallo studio condotto per nostro conto dall’Università di Pisa. Per gli ulteriori interventi di potenziamento, opere visibili che cambieranno davvero la qualità dei viaggi dei cittadini e non semplici opere di manutenzione, Toscana Strade procederà con risorse proprie, che deriveranno dal 50% degli introiti da autovelox, dalla pubblicità, dalle concessioni e dal pedaggio per i soli tir, attuato tramite un sistema aperto, per rimediare alla maggiore usura che i mezzi pesanti arrecano al tratto ed anche per bilanciare meglio la divisione del traffico pesante sulla direttrice Firenze-costa, dato che la maggior parte dei tir tende ad utilizzare la FiPiLi in quanto priva di pedaggio”.

A maggio oltre 151.000 nuove auto e BEV vicine al 9%. Il noleggio a lungo termine resta stabile nel complesso, ma crescono gli operatori indipendenti capaci di interpretare un mercato sempre più frammentato. 

Il mercato cresce nei volumi, ma la composizione della domanda richiede una lettura più selettiva: privati, alimentazioni elettrificate e nuovi operatori stanno ridisegnando gli equilibri del noleggio.

Il mercato automobilistico italiano continua a crescere, ma i numeri richiedono una lettura più approfondita rispetto alla semplice variazione delle immatricolazioni. A maggio 2026 sono state targate 151.409 nuove autovetture, con un incremento del 7,55% rispetto allo stesso mese del 2025. Il cumulato dei primi cinque mesi dell’anno sfiora così le 800.000 unità, in progresso del 9,5%. 

A sostenere la crescita è soprattutto il canale dei privati, che supera le 81.000 immatricolazioni e raggiunge una quota del 53,5% del mercato. Una parte significativa dell’incremento è tuttavia legata alle consegne di vetture elettriche ordinate con gli incentivi del 2025 e immatricolate soltanto negli ultimi mesi. 

Il risultato positivo non deve quindi essere interpretato come una crescita uniforme di tutti i segmenti. Al contrario, il mercato appare sempre più selettivo, caratterizzato da dinamiche differenti tra privati, aziende, noleggio, alimentazioni e singoli operatori.

• 151.409 nuove autovetture immatricolate, pari a +7,55% rispetto a maggio 2025. 

• Circa 800.000 immatricolazioni nel cumulato gennaio-maggio, pari a +9,5%.

Nel mese di maggio il noleggio a lungo termine rappresenta il 21,5% delle nuove immatricolazioni di autovetture. Il dato complessivo è sostanzialmente stabile rispetto allo scorso anno, con una lieve variazione negativa dello 0,6%. 

Dietro questa media si osservano però andamenti molto diversi. I principali operatori generalisti crescono del 32,7%, mentre i noleggiatori di medie dimensioni hanno più che raddoppiato i propri volumi. Le società Captive legate ai costruttori registrano invece una flessione del 25,3%, anche per effetto del confronto con un 2025 particolarmente favorevole. 

La fotografia restituisce un mercato nel quale il noleggio non perde rilevanza, ma cambia fisionomia. La crescita non dipende più soltanto dalla capacità di proporre un canone competitivo: diventano centrali la consulenza, la selezione delle vetture, la corretta interpretazione delle esigenze del cliente e la capacità di orientarsi tra alimentazioni, fiscalità e tempi di consegna.

Anche il confronto tra le alimentazioni mostra un mercato sempre meno lineare. Le auto elettriche pure raggiungono una quota dell’8,9% e crescono dell’86,6% rispetto a maggio 2025. Il dato è significativo, ma beneficia ancora della coda degli incentivi dello scorso anno. 

Le ibride plug-in superano invece il 10% del mercato, con un incremento del 73,9%, sostenuto soprattutto dalle scelte delle aziende. Le full hybrid registrano un aumento del 32,5% e raggiungono una quota del 15,8%. Il diesel arretra fino al 12%, confermando un ridimensionamento strutturale nel mercato delle autovetture.

L’elettrico può essere una scelta efficace per alcuni profili di utilizzo, mentre per altri clienti una full hybrid o una plug-in hybrid possono offrire un equilibrio più adatto tra autonomia, costi e praticità. Il compito di un operatore specializzato è evitare soluzioni standardizzate e costruire una proposta coerente con le esigenze reali.»

Il mese di maggio evidenzia anche il consolidamento dei costruttori cinesi nel mercato italiano. BYD entra per la prima volta nella Top 10 dei marchi per immatricolazioni, con una crescita del 210%. Leapmotor rafforza la propria presenza nel comparto elettrico grazie alla T03, che supera le 4.200 immatricolazioni e rappresenta oltre il 30% delle BEV targate nel mese. 

L’ingresso di nuovi protagonisti amplia la scelta per consumatori e aziende, ma rende ancora più importante confrontare attentamente valore residuo, dotazioni, tempi di consegna, servizi inclusi e adeguatezza del veicolo rispetto all’utilizzo previsto. 

La situazione rimane più complessa nel comparto dei veicoli commerciali leggeri. A maggio sono state immatricolate 14.231 unità, con un calo dell’8,24% rispetto allo stesso mese del 2025. Il cumulato gennaio-maggio resta negativo del 4%. 

Il diesel continua a rappresentare oltre l’80% del mercato dei mezzi da lavoro, mentre le immatricolazioni dei veicoli commerciali elettrici arretrano del 39%. Il dato segnala una transizione più lenta per artigiani, professionisti e imprese, che devono valutare con particolare attenzione autonomia, infrastrutture di ricarica e sostenibilità economica dell’investimento.

PISA – Il mondo del calcio toscano e nerazzurro si veste a lutto per la scomparsa di Mauro Viviani, storico allenatore in seconda del Pisa Sporting Club durante l’indimenticabile seconda parte della presidenza di Romeo Anconetani. Livornese di nascita ma pisano d’adozione sportiva, il tecnico si è spento all’età di 76 anni, lasciando un vuoto profondo nel cuore dei tanti sportivi che ne hanno saputo apprezzare la competenza, l’estrema professionalità e una straordinaria signorilità dentro e fuori dal rettangolo di gioco.

Mister Viviani era arrivato all’ombra della Torre pendente nel 1988, diventando rapidamente un vero e proprio punto di riferimento e un fedelissimo del “Presidentissimo”. Nel corso del suo quinquennio in nerazzurro, durato fino al 1993, ha rappresentato il polmone tattico e l’elemento di continuità nello spogliatoio, lavorando fianco a fianco con timonieri di primissimo livello mondiale del calibro di Lamberto Giannini, Mircea Lucescu, Bruno Bolchi, Ilario Castagner e Vincenzo Montefusco. Un ruolo nell’ombra che Anconetani volle premiare e riconoscere pubblicamente nel corso del campionato di Serie B 1992/1993, affidandogli direttamente la guida tecnica della prima squadra per una quindicina di giornate. Una sfida raccolta con la consueta concretezza da Viviani, capace di condurre i nerazzurri fino a un tranquillo ottavo posto in classifica, prima del suo definitivo congedo dalla società.

Negli ultimi anni, la figura di Mauro Viviani era rimasta legatissima alle celebrazioni storiche del club, anche grazie al prezioso lavoro di memoria del Museo del Calcio a Pisa. Proprio l’associazione lo aveva riabbracciato con calore prima nel 2019, in occasione dell’emozionante evento “Glorie Nerazzurre” ospitato all’interno delle Officine Garibaldi, e successivamente nel 2024. In quella memorabile circostanza, in piazza San Paolo a Ripa d’Arno, Viviani aveva partecipato con entusiasmo alla storica “foto ricordo” organizzata per celebrare degnamente i 115 anni di storia del sodalizio pisano. Con la sua partenza, se ne va un pezzo nobile e romantico di quel calcio d’altri tempi che fece grande Pisa.
